MY REFLECTION ABOUT THE PHILOSOPHICAL MATERIALS STUDIED WITHIN WEEK 03

Started learning about learning is a complicated practice and during learning one can make a lot of synapses within his/her brain which help to create short & long term memories, understanding & intellectual power. And also, learnt about the importance of learner centered teaching in which the learner has to contemplate and practice more on what the teacher teaches which help to create more synapses and long-term memory. Further, I could learn that how to learn in harmony with the brain like proper nutrition, hydration, sleep and exercise. Moreover, learnt the consequences of cramming without remembering, transference of learning & how to create connections in between learnt things in order to improve brain synapses.  

After that, I could learn about basic kinds of perceptions, different kinds of perceptual beliefs like propositional & objectual, elements of perceptions such as perceiver, object, sensory experience & relationship between the object & the subject, difference between perception, conception & belief and the perceptual hierarchy like intensity, sensation, configuration, transition, event, relationship, category, sequence, program, principle, and system concept. Moreover, learnt that seeing as a perceptual ground of justification & knowledge, illusion & hallucination and the theory of appearing such as sense-datum theories of perception and adverbial theories of perception. Furthermore, learnt that epistemology is not a theory of knowledge but it helps to ask questions about knowledge and understanding.

And also, learnt about human understanding like the origin of ideas through the memory of sensation and imagination, association of ideas, doubts, reasoning & conclusion of relation of different ideas and the probability.

Furthermore, I learnt about propositional logic in which learnt about individual propositions/ claims/ statements, compound statements, logical connectives like AND, OR, THEN. And also, learnt about conjunctions, disjunctions that is composed of two or more disjuncts with inclusive OR or exclusive OR, negations, disjunctions with negations, double negations, contradicting a conjunction, contradicting a disjunction, preparing truth tables and analyzing compound statements. 


It can be concluded that I could enrich & expand my knowledge & understanding about learning, perceptions, human understanding and propositional logic during this week which are highly relevant to the study of philosophy of science.
